Neuromuscular Orthotics

Orthotists work alongside medical and allied health practitioners to support you if you are living with a neuromuscular condition by assessing and designing appropriate orthoses to meet your individual goals and needs. Neuromuscular conditions refers to any illness or disease affecting the nervous system and muscles of the body, including cerebral palsy, stroke, spinal cord injury and poliomyelitis.

Orthoses range from simple to complex to meet your specific needs, including lightweight dynamic AFOs to be worn in optimal comfort with everyday footwear, to KAFOs which incorporate state of the art knee and ankle componentry.

Orthomotion clients have access to the most advanced and innovative lower limb orthoses and mobility supports, including customised footwear, available to optimise your mobility and functional outcomes. All mobility solutions are fine-tuned to optimise comfort, function and aesthetic requirements for you.
